The ideal member experience for individual renewals
This procedure is based on the concept that the best member experience will be for those members who have unique email addresses etc and can renew online.
They would receive emails that provide:
a) A breakdown of the cost of renewing
b) A direct link to where they can renew
During renewal we would encourage them to:
a) Update their member profile information
b) Provide voluntary contributions to the PEC etc
General setup
Auto-renew is completely disabled.
Renewal email directs the member to their member compass
The member goes through the Member compass renewal process, both updating their profile and editing their voluntary contributions.
a) Renewing in Member Compass
When a member visits the member compass they see a button to enable renewal
Clicking on this button takes them through a dues renewal procedure
Step1: Review their key member data (this is data we designated as key on the backend)
Step 2: Select the voluntary contributions prior to paying
b) Sending renewal invoices by mail
Some members require a printed invoice that they return with their dues check.
